According to our sources, the new BMW 1M has been confirmed as being part of the BMW European Delivery program. While initially the launch date was scheduled for April 15th, 2011, we learned that the US delivery through the program will begin on May 16th.
The reason for the delay is unknown at the moment.
BMW dealerships across the country are being notified this week and the ED office has yet to determine how the 1M Coupe will be allocated and how many units will be available through the program.
A decision is said to be announced by the end of January, with allocations starting in March.
Pricing continues to remain a mystery and it will only be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show on January 10th.
