July comes and BMW will unveil the M-Sport Package for the new 5 Series Sedan and Touring models. As previously seen on other models, the M-Sport package brings the usual aerodynamics design cues: deeper front air-dam with larger intakes, side sill extensions to a re-contoured back bumper to accommodate the larger the tailpipes and an overall more aggressive front-bumper.
The exterior upgrades give the new 5 Series Sedan and Touring a sharper, sportier appearance and the interior upgrades take enhance the driver-car interface and sportiness. The interior upgrades include a BMW M shifter, M steering wheel and M footrest. While not confirmed, carbon-fiber trim is also likely to be included.
In combination with the M Sports Package, customers will also likely have the choice of exclusive paintwork and wheel designs.
Mechanical changes with M-Sport packages are typically limited to wheels and tires, brakes and possibly upgraded suspension.
The BMW 5 Series Sedan and Touring with M-Sport Package will officially launch at the Paris Motor Show this fall.
