EQUALIZER (DSP)

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and hopefully have a simple question. I just purchased a 1998 740 IL and have not been able to turn on the car's equalizer (DSP) system. I've check my owner's manual and there's nothing on the topic. Can anyone HELP??? I would image it's a simple thing but I just can't figure it out.
