Spy photographer Palbay catches the 2013 BMW M5 while being unloaded at the Performance Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In our opinion, the M5 spotted is used for a preview or presentation prior to its official launch in July. The M School fleet will receive their first units around the same time.

When it arrives this summer, the 2013 BMW M5 will carry Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices of $90,695 (including destination and handling).

As we mentioned many times before, the new M5 features under the hood a high-revving 4.4-liter (4395cc) turbocharged that uses the BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology. The engine outputs 560 horsepower from 5,750-7,000 rpm and 680Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque from only 1500rpm. It comes in both manual and 7-speed DCT transmission.

Along with a variety of new and existing colors, the 2013 BMW M5 also features an unique array of BMW Individual colors: Frozen Silver Metallic, Frozen Black, Frozen Gray, Champagne Quartz, Amazonite Silver, Citrin Black and Azurite Black.

The “standard” colors are: Silverstone II, Space Grey, Havana, Singapore Grey, Imperial Blue, Monte Carlo Blue, Black Sapphire and Alpine White colors. For those with deeper pockets, BMW Individual has an extensive catalog of exterior colors: Amazonite, Azurite Black, Champagne Quartz, Moonstone and Citrin Black.

Other standard features are: 20 inch lightweight alloy wheels with performance tires (non run-flat), Merino leather, Alcantara rooflines, park distance control, front and rear view camera, comfort access, heated front and rear seats, HiFi Sound System and BMW Apps.
