A BMW 1M coupe with JRZ suspension and 2 Recaro race seats tailgates a BMW M3 GTS at the famous Nurburgring race track. The 1M was driven by Andre de Vries, also known as ‘AdvEvo’ on most automotive forums.

Andres reports that he did a Bridge to Gantry in just 7:45min over 11.9 miles.

The 1M is powered by the N54 twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter I-6 engine. For the 1M, the turbocharger, exhaust system, and ECU have been revised to produce 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, though up to 369 pound-feet are available temporarily in overboost mode. Redline is found at 7000 rpm.

The 1M followed the all-mighty M3 GTS. The extra-sporty coupe is produced at the BMW M manufacturing facility and in addition to a larger and more powerful V8 engine, exclusive tuning of the 7-speed M Dual Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic and modified suspension technology, the car, which is designed for club sport use, has also been specifically optimized with regard to aerodynamics and lightweight construction. BMW M3 GTS features a 331 kW/450 bhp engine .

Featuring a transmission and suspension configuration which has been optimized for the racetrack, the BMW M3 GTS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 4.4 seconds. The car reaches the 1,000 meter mark from a standstill in just 22.5 seconds.

Ready for 8 minutes of extreme driving? Let’s have a look.
