One of our favorites BMWs at the Geneva Motor Show is the uber fuel efficient BMW 320d EfficientDynamics edition. The BMW 320d is powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder diesel engine outputting 163 horsepower. Fuel consumption is rated at 4.1 liter/100 km or 57 MPG US.

To achieve such an important fuel efficiency number, aerodynamics of the cars have been improved and as we have seen on the new X6 ActiveHybrid, BMW is paying attention to every detail, including newly designed wheels.

While to some of us living in the U.S. 163 horsepower might seem insufficient, the appealing 57 MPG number could steer us away from the powerful, yet not so fuel efficient 335i.

Unfortunately, the BMW 320d continues to remain an European product and as of now, there are no plans to make it across the ocean.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
