A section of the online configurator for the new 2011 BMW X3 just went live on www.bmw.co.uk. While the German bmw.de website is yet to be configured for the new X3, the UK customers will have the opportunity to customize the X3 xDrive20d.
For the first time, we have the opportunity to see exterior colors palette, wheels and various interior options available for the F25 X3.
The xDrive20d model listed, is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel engine producing 184 horsepower. The entry-level diesel is the most efficient model in the X3 lineup with a fuel consumption of only 5.6 liters per 100km (42 mpg) and CO2 emission of 149 grams per kilometer.
BMW X3 xDrive20d has a base price of 30, 490 British pounds, the equivalent of $48,149.
The U.S. market will offer in the beginning two models, xDrive28i and xDrive35i, but we expect a diesel engine to enter the North American market at a later date.
