Help Removing Diff.

I am almost ready to pull the whole rear end out of my car, But the ebrake cable cover goes into the back of the trailing arm and i can budge it. Does the complete cable come out of the back of the trailing arm. I want to clean and paint the rearend.

i'm not sure what part you are talking about exactly. do you have any pictures you could post?

i'm guessing this is for your e30 so i'm gonna move it to the e30 section , just let me know if its not e30 tho.

That was a type-O.
My car is a *1993* E36 325is.
