What size tires?

I bought this 83 325i and i'm just finding out what has been done to it.
There is H&R springs and shocks. The car sits low plus the
ground effects give me about 6" clearance on the front thats with the 15" stock steel that came on it. The rims that the previous owner had on it were stolen. I see some rub spots in the wheel wells. Ok my question is what size tire should i put on my new 17"x8.5 with 45mm offset?

That was a type-O.
My car is a *1993* E36 325is.
