First Spy Photos: 2013 F01 BMW 7 Series Facelift
The F01 BMW 7 Series is due for a life cycle impulse update, or simply put, a facelift. Launched in 2008, the flagship BMW will go through some minor cosmetic changes.
The first spy photos of the BMW 7 Series LCI came out today and at a first glance, it seems like the facelifted 7er will receive the full LED lights treatment seen on all the new BMWs. The indicator lamps will consist of a new row of LEDS situated at the top of the unit.
We expect some the front and rear bumper to be restyled, and a new set of wheels to be offered.
Under the hood, we expect the 2013 BMW 7 Series facelift to receive some of the updated turbocharged engine, starting with the 3.0 liter diesel turbo and possibly the 350 horsepower gasoline six-cylinder unit. The top end model will remain the 760i powered by the V12 TwinTurbo.
The car is expected to debut in Spring of 2012 and the introduction may take place at the Beijing Motor Show.
