“WHEREVER YOU WANT TO GO: Four Films about the Future of Mobility”
Series to debut throughout February at www.BMWActivatetheFuture.com

Woodcliff Lake, NJ - January 20, 2011... BMW of North America announced today a four-part documentary series entitled “WHEREVER YOU WANT TO GO: Four Films about the Future of Mobility”, which is intended to create a broader conversation about the future of mobility and to challenge existing consumer mindsets. A trailer for the series can be seen now at www.BMWActivatetheFuture.com. The first film, “The New City,” premieres on February 1st with subsequent films premiering each Tuesday throughout the month of February. This project kicks off a new franchise called BMW Documentaries, an initiative dedicated to crafting original, thought-provoking and entertaining content.

The project is designed to start a broader conversation that thinks “beyond the car.” Each film will feature key thought leaders like Syd Mead, the futurist and conceptual designer for Blade Runner; Marissa Mayer, VP of location services at Google; Chris Brogan, President & CEO, Human Business Works; and Buzz Aldrin, among others talking about their view of mobility in the cities of the future. See the full list of thought leaders below.
