Exactly a year ago, yours truly reported that a future electric 1 Series model powered by the MINI E technology will be unveiled. Well, the ActiveE is here and brings some of the latest advancements in the all-electric powered vehicles.

Engine: Lithium-ion electric pack making 170hp and 184lb-ft of torque (125kW/250 Nm)
Transmission: Direct Drive
Weight: 3,900lbs
0-60: 8.5-seconds
Drive Time: Approx. 100 miles
Charge Time: 4.5 hours on 220 volt residential power supply
