The BMW 1M: The Last Drive

Matt Farah of The Smoking Tire and The Car Show are giving us an exciting review of our favorite BMW for this year: the 1M.
As a true enthusiasts, Farah delivers a review that focuses mostly on the driving experience, touching on some of the things that make the 1M an exciting and a driver’s car.
Before jumping into the video, here is a quick reminder on what powers the 1M: a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter I-6 engine. For the 1M, the turbocharger, exhaust system, and ECU have been revised to produce 340 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, though up to 369 pound-feet are available temporarily in overboost mode.
Car magazines reveal that the 1M runs from 0 to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds, and to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 17.2 seconds.
