2006 July 27 - Site images optimized & compressed

Many of the images on the site have been optimized and compressed for faster page load speeds. In all, there were approximately 100 images on the site that were optimized. The results from optimizing these images were very impressive. A whooping 100 megabytes (approximately) or more have been eliminated from both the server (more free space) as well as your downloading chunks! None of these optimizations are visually noticeable, as the quality of the images was reserved. However, if you've browsed the site before, you should notice that the image file sizes are significantly smaller.
