Warming, Head of Exterior Design at BMW, and Girard, Interior Design boss, narrate some of the design core values at BMW. We have had the pleasure to chat with them several times and their passion for design translates into hours of conversation around BMW cars and not only.
Faghihzadeh and Bauer, exterior designer 6 Series, respectively interior designer, takes us to the beginning of the design process. From sketches to full-size clay models, the design process is fascinating, intriguing and challenging. But a car doesn’t revolve only around design, the materials play an important role as well, and the selection of them begin almost at the same time with the design process.
A must see video and personally, I am quite intrigued by the process of designing a car, a dream job for anyone with an end-result that can be very rewarding, seeing your car on the street has to provide the highest level of satisfaction any designer ever dreams of.
