Airbag warning light

I reset the service lights by earthing 7. No Luck. Airbag warning light still on. From what i've read on various sites, the cause has to be rectified first. Any ideas other than the Pelican Parts tool?

320i Transmission

The car jerks when changing to 2nd during normal accelleration (when in motion). If the accellerator is floored from standstill, the change to 2nd is smoother. While idling in DRIVE, everything feels OK. Haven't noticed anything on the steering wheel? (is the gearbox and steering pump connected?) I ...

Reset service / SRS lights

I've used this method to rest the service lights on my 320i, but wasn't sure if it would help for the airbag warning light. The 328i's light came on out of the blue. I haven't done any electrical work on the 328i. Only replaced the fanbelt. (The day it happened I pushed the car a bit. Hit 200km/h on...

Pelican Parts Reset Tool [SOLVED]

I want to buy the Pelican tool (R5) to reset the service lights. And my airbag warning light has come on in my '97 328i. Does this mean I have to buy two tools (The SRS as well)? Does Pelican have a multi-purpose tool that checks codes and resets all or do you have to buy both?

'94 320i Transmission Fluid

My 320i auto jerks when it changes to 2nd. Especially when cold. From experience with other auto's (not BMW) this is sometimes a symptom of low transmission fluid. I tried to check it this past weekend. The box does not have a filler plug on the side of the sump. Only two plugs on the bottom. One is...

CD Changer

Just had an idea. Pulling the 320i apart to fit the correct cable seems like a lot of unnecessay work to fit old technology! (CD's tend to skip on uneven road surfaces) I've seen adapters on various sites that allow IPOD's or MP3 players to be fitted to the CD Changer plug in the boot. Is this corre...

CD Changer

Thanx. I was hoping that wouldn't be necessary. I've always done all my own car maintenance and mod's. But since buying the 328i two years ago I've been a bit careful. The car is so well put together, most jobs tend to have 3 or 4 extra steps just to get to what you want to do. I'll hunt around junk...

CD Changer

I want to fit my '97 328i's CD Changer to my wife's '94 320i. The 328i has a cable with ±13 pins, the 320i' plug (behind the carpeting in the boot) has ±7 pins. Please help!
